Register for the Joint Conference EUKN and Polish EU Presidency
The 4th annual conference of the European Urban Knowledge Network (EUKN) will take place in Warsaw under the Polish EU Presidency, on 8 and 9 December 2011. Entitled 'The Urban Dimension of Cohesion Policy: lessons learnt from integrated urban projects', the conference will be organised in close cooperation with the Polish Ministry of Regional Development, the City of Warsaw and the Dutch Ministry of the Interior.

Summit of Europe's Regions and Citizens - Call for best urban practice
The Committee of the Regions organises its 5th Summit of Europe's Regions and Citiens on 22 and 23 March 2012 in Copenhagen, in partnership with the City of Copenhagen and the Capital Region of Denmark. On this occasion, an exhibition titled "Beautiful, Green, Smart and Inclusive: Colourful Cities" will showcase best practice in urban development. The Committee of the Regions invites regional and local authorities, associations and other organisations to participate in this exhibition by sending your project(s) before 7 November.

CECODHAS Conference - The Key Role of Structural Funds for a Sustainable Energy Future in the EU
CECODHAS Housing Europe will hold a conference entitled "The key role of Structural Funds for Sustainable Energy in the EU" on Thursday 9 June in Cardiff. This conference takes place within the framework of the 2011 General Assembly Meetings of CECODHAS and of the SF Energy Invest project supported by Intelligent Energy Europe Programme. Presentations of achievements in the field of sustainable energy and housing, current and future EU funding opportunities and reflection over the needs for future EU support will be presented.

7th Annual Meeting of the OECD LEED Forum on Partnerships and Local Governance
The 7th Annual Meeting of the OECD LEED Forum on Partnerships and Local Governance will bring together some 200 representatives of local partnerships, government officials, local leaders, social entrepreneurs, business representatives, trade unions and academics to review how local development actors are adapting to this new reality and the innovations emerging on the ground to respond to these new challenges. Entitled “Doing more with less: local partnerships’ role in the recovery", the event will take place in Vienna, Austria on 10-11 March 2011.
