The Consortium Red Local - Local Network for Economic Promotion, Employment and Training from the Region of Madrid is a body governed by Public Law composed of 8 Town Councils that gather more than 430.000 inhabitants.

The municipalities belonging to the Consortium have a great potential of economic and demographic growth and most of them have a fully industrial character. They have been fully sharing, for more than 10 years, their role in economic promotion and social innovation as the closest administration to the citizen, local administration.

For more than 10 years of joint work, the Consortium Red Local has carried out a great number of projects. Most of them are aimed to promote socially responsible employment and vocational integration into the labour market, development of regional, national and transnational projects.

Ian Goldring is experienced as a Project Manager, Evaluator and Researcher within EU funded projects and as a consultant for local administrations in providing expertise on Urban Regeneration issues, Spatial Planning and Regional Development Strategies – Included Interreg, Urban, Leonardo, Socrates, e-Learning and other funding programmes (Clients including various local and regional level administrations, as well as various third sector organisations). Ian has 17 years experience in teaching and training work and post-grad qualifications in pedagogy and in training evaluation.
