The report on intercultural dialogue and access of migrants and ethnic minorities to education, health and housing services, provides first an overview of the project and the methodology used by the MILE project partners to develop their work on the theme of intercultural dialogue and access to key services. Section two presents the main debates on intercultural dialogue and participation at the European Union level as well as an overview of the issues facing mile partner cities/regions for the access of migrants and ethnic minorities to key services. In section three the action plans for intercultural dialogue and access to key services, which have been developed by each MILE partner, are summarised (the full action plans are included in Appendix Four of this report). Finally, section four presents a selection of the case studies and other resources, which were produced to support MILE partners to develop the action plans. The local impact and future of action plans is detailed in section six.

This report details the actions and outcomes of the second sub-theme of the

Managing migration and integration at a local level (MILE) project; active inclusion of

migrants.

The report begins with an introduction to the MILE project; its aims, intended outcomes and the partners which make up the MILE network. Following the report gives in different sections a brief overview of active inclusion, presents the methodology used by the MILE project partners to develop their work on the theme of active Inclusion, summarises the issues for active inclusion of migrants and ethnic minorities in each of the MILE partner cities/regions. In section five, the action plans for active inclusion measures which have been developed by each MILE partner are summarised (the full action plans are included in Appendix Four of this report). Finally, section six presents a selection of the case studies and other resources which were produced to support MILE partners to develop the action plans for active inclusion measures.

This report on Enterprise Development for Migrants & Ethnic Minorities provides first an overview of the MILE project, then a compact overview of enterprise development services in each city and the needs identified for action. The second part outlines the methodology used and the evaluation of the coaching process that

was offered to each city for developing their action plan. A summary of each action plan is

outlined in the final section. The impact and future of local action plans is described in the conclusions.

The report collected from one side an European local mapping overview on Key drivers and trends in EU immigration and integration and EU policy development, current situation and future perspectives. From the other side summaries of key elements of local mapping of the partners focusing on:

• Key trends and issues at regional/city level on migration and integration supported by figures and
• breakdown by gender, age and ethnicity/nationality of the migrant population
• Review of current actions/services provided and the results obtained so far
• Definition of priority needs that are not covered by the services prov ided: gaps in terms of particular types of services
