Concello de Santiago de Compostela (City Council) bmendozac@santiagodecompostela.org

In the last decades of 20th Century, Santiago de Compostela has experienced a big change, going beyond being a medieva style city to a modern and well-equipped major city. The Government team had the responsibility of closing that innovative cycle and designing the city of the future: a Santiago for living and working with a high quality of life, without loosing the constructive and aesthetical excellence started and with the World Heritage recognition in 1985.
