Every Thing Is Connected
Showcasing Manchester as a smart city, Every Thing is Connected is a 3-day ‘conference-as-lab’.
We will be sharing the findings from local and international smart city projects through hands-on demonstrations, discussions, networking and art installations.
The event will take place at the Bright Building, Manchester Science Partnership’s brand new state-of-the-art workplace.
Tuesday 20 March: SmartImpact – A day of presentations and workshops on the findings of SmartImpact project
Wednesday 21 March: Smart City Live – An interactive day of workshops, talks, walking tours and demonstrations showcasing Internet of Things demonstrator projects
Wednesday evening and Thursday 22 March: Future Sessions: Trust in Invisible Agents – A day of ideas, presentations, art and discussions including an evening launch party at the Whitworth Art Gallery

A day of presentations and workshops focused on the findings of the Manchester City Council-led SmartImpact project.
SmartImpact is a European Commission funded network of 10 European cities, focused on promoting smart, sustainable urban development to create liveable cities.
The day will offer the opportunity to discuss and explore the issues behind being a Smart City and find out how other cities are tackling these.
You will also have the chance to network and discuss future funding opportunities. We will launch of the outputs and resources from the SmartImpact project, including case studies from the network partners.
