CALL FOR PILOT PROJECTS: UIA Transfer Mechanism

Use the URBACT Method to understand, adapt and prepare the re-use of an UIA innovative solution!

WHAT

Building on the completed projects from the Urban Innovative Action initiative and the success of URBACT Transfer Networks, four pilot networks will be selected to embark on this journey. This means twelve European cities in total, three transfer partners and an UIA city leading this process per network.

HOW

The UIA Transfer Mechanism uses the experience of the URBACT programme to transfer innovation from one city to others. As a final output, the pilot transfer partners will develop investment plans to fund the innovative solutions. These pilot projects do not fund implementation

WHEN

This call is open from 1st December 2020 to 1st February 2021. The pilot networks will run from March 2021 to September 2022.

More information about the call can be found here.

Only completed UIA projects can apply to become Lead Partners and, thus, create pilot project ideas. If you are interested to become a Transfer Project Partner or a Lead Expert, feel free to browse around and get in touch with Lead Partners' candidates.
