Networks

Discover the URBACT Networks, their cities, their plans,  and recommendations. An URBACT network brings together EU cities willing to exchange ideas and produce integrated local policies with the help of their peers, local stakeholders and URBACT experts. Cities can join three types of URBACT Networks, Action Planning, Transfer and the Innovation Transfer Mechanism, following calls for proposals.

  • One Health 4 Cities

    The One Health 4 Cities network aims to promote the integration of the One Health approach into urban strategies and projects. It intends to develop tools that empower decision-makers and operational teams to increase the positive impact of urban projects on the well-being and health of people, animals and environment.

  • S.M.ALL

    The S.M.ALL network  addresses urban challenges, promoting and implementing sustainable mobility solutions for all, including safe home-to-school journeys, accessible routes and tailored Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans, realizing targeted action plans for vulnerable groups. Using a transnational approach to reduce urban inequalities, harmonize sustainable mobility practices and enhance inclusivity, the S.M.ALL consortium brings together different experiences and expertise in sustainable urban mobility aiming to foster significant changes in the urban spaces, making them more inclusive and accessible for all.

  • Cities@Heart

    Cities@Heart brings together ten European urban areas with diverse profiles but with one common goal: achieving a balanced and inclusive city centre for all users. By gathering relevant indicators and using a common methodology, this network aims to create a holistic policy framework for lasting and meaningful change in the heart of the city. Working hand in hand with local stakeholders and users, Cities@Heart is here to develop tools that foster happy, healthy and harmonious places.

  • EcoCore

    EcoCore focuses on accelerating the green transition in the industrial areas of partner cities. It aims to build the capacity of small cities in addressing climate change by promoting a green economy agenda and assisting local stakeholders, particularly businesses, in transitioning to low-carbon energy sources for transportation, heating and electricity. Network activities will create significant momentum for a green energy transition, especially in the work environments of the industrial areas of the partner cities.

  • TechDiversity

    TechDiversity is an URBACT network of eight partners representing small and medium-sized European cities, that aim to boost and facilitate diverse local communities that are not active in Tech & Digital sectors, facing specific challenges in terms of diversity, gender equality and inclusion. Furthermore, the partner cities will mainly focus on an identified pressing issue and will support at least one diverse local group in each of the participating cities, through the action plans.

  • FEMACT-Cities

    The objective of FEMACT-Cities is to support the drafting of eight “Local Action Plans on Gender Equality” about main challenges regarding women's liberty and empowerment:

     

    - a society that adapts and protects,

    - a society that enables education and personal development,

    - a society that enables emancipation and economic autonomy.

     

    These challenges come together in a transversal fight against stereotypes.

  • NextGen YouthWork

    NextGen YouthWork aims to develop further and improve online youth work through innovative digital solutions at the city level. By this, the network works towards better aligning youth work with the opportunities and challenges posed by the online world in which young people spend a lot of time nowadays.
