In 2025, cities involved in URBACT networks expressed their interest in storytelling, and how this can help them drive change at local level, with the involvement of citizens and local officials. That was the start of a series of activities, from assessing cities’ needs, to a series of storytelling trainings, and a guide to urban storytelling. This page gathers inspiration and advice on how urban professionals can use storytelling techniques to make their messages understandable and engaging.
