Mouans Sartoux Welcomes its Partners

The relevance of the Kick-Off Meeting (KOM) lies in the experience of the Project Partners who get to taste, visualize and believe in the mission they embarked on. And this is marvelous in the case of BioCanteens #2, because getting to know how a 10 000 inhabitants city managed to transform its school's canteens, building a whole system around, is indeed inspiring. And this inspiration is a fundamental engine for Partners Cities to start their virtuous paths.

Getting to know each other: our City Visits

Between August and September, The Lead Partner's Team had the chance to visit the BioCanteens #2 Partners in their cities: Evora (PT), Wroclaw (PO), Gavà (ES), and Liège (BE). City Visits allowed us to get a bite of the reality of the territory, the political implication, the production and consumption patterns, and the functioning of the school procurement system. Most importantly, it gave us the chance to establish a relationship to perpetuate our fruitful collaboration for the next months.

4th Transnational Meeting in Greece, a creative effort to find tomorrow's solutions to struggle isolation

The 4th TNM was held on April 17th and 18th in the city of Cerres, Greece. In addition to the delegations from the 10 cities participating in the "Breaking Isolation" project of the Urbact network, this meeting also welcomed some members of the ULGs (Urban Local Groups) to enhance their involvement.

Tiny Practical Steps for change: TransNational Meeting in Wroclaw, Poland

The 2nd Meeting of the BioCanteens#2 Transfer Network took place in Wroclaw, from the 22nd  to the 25th of November, under the theme "Micro Good Practices". The meeting gathered the four project staff of the four Cities (Mouans-Sartoux, Liège, Gavà and Wroclaw),  their respective kitchen staff, and local stakeholders.
