Tartu - Integrated Action Plan

The main aim of Intergrated Action Plan (IAP) of Tartu is to provide guidelines for communication and engagement activities for e-engagement of key stakeholders on 3 priority focus topics presented in graph 1. According to our vision all these 3 focus areas are interrelated and partly overlapping, so addressing one, the other two will be affected as well.

Urbact Interactive Cities Transnational Meeting Murcia – Part One

The Murcia Team had the immense pleasure of hosting the previous to last partner meeting of the Urbact Interactive Cities Network in our city from the 24^th until the 26^th of January 2018, a vibrant mixture of working sessions, expert interventions, site-visits and workshops throughout the three-day-programme.

Murcia with ≈450K inhabitants is the 7th largest city of Spain, capital of the Murcia Region and located in the southeast of the Iberia peninsula. The City has all modern facilities one can expect from a regional capital, and the economy is primarily based on services, (residential) tourism being important, and agriculture (exporting all over Europe, examples include fruit, vegetables and wine).

A short discussion note on Community Cohesion

The theme of the First Workshop in Dresden 21-23 September 2016

The issue of community cohesion has becoming increasing more pressing and as such has pushed the issue higher up the political agenda following the tragic events in Paris and Brussels. The  ongoing state of emergency in Paris and  Brussels, the ongoing arrival of migrants fleeing war and poverty and the recent  attacks  in Nice, Normandy and  in several German  cities have brought to the fore the ongoing challenges facing cities in respect of managing the new flows as well as addressing the issue of community cohesion.

The Arrival Cities Partners present their Action Plans at local level

In order to present the Integrated Action Plan the project partners organized local events to promote the approval of the Action Plan and disseminated the results of the project.
