2Nite Journal #1 September - February 2024

The first Network Journal of 2Nite highlights the foundational activities carried out at transnational and local levels between September 2024 and February 2025. Through an international study visit in Torino and bilateral exchange visits across Riga, Quadrilátero Urbano, Sant Boi de Llobregat, and Cluj-Napoca, the network established a common baseline to inspect local spatial and social realities on the ground. The core objective of adapting Torino's proximity-led urban security model, focusing on non-punitive interventions, civic storytelling, and participatory budgeting, is preparing the ground for transferring these social inclusion mechanisms to consolidate urban safety across diverse European public spaces.
