Conference on Citizen Driven Climate Solutions - empowerment, democracy and local communities
The conference marks the wrap-up of the COPE project. The conference has a brave, impatient and lively agenda. Local enthusiasts showcase different civic communities in Sønderbro, and new circus artists create an energetic space for action and learning.
The event is based on COPE's experiences in engaging citizens in the green transition of local areas. At the same time, major global agendas are included, showing how social tipping points and the role of science in democratic decisions can strengthen local initiatives and make them a driving force for greater societal change. The conference also presents new perspectives on the green transition, where climate justice, regenerative principles and the voices of young people can inspire new ways of thinking and acting.
