The Local Government Division (LGD), as the National URBACT Point and the Urban Contact Point for European Urban Initiative (EUI) in Malta, will host a joint information session for both programmes on Thursday 7th May 2026, the venue is yet to be confirmed. On-site registration will be available from 08:30hrs.

The information session will provide a great opportunity to learn about both programmes’ offers to Maltese cities.
Information on the new URBACT call for Action Networks will be a key feature on the day, as well as learning about the EUI’s Capacity Building: Innovative Actions call and City to city exchange.
As well as learning about the above, this event always provides a pleasant opportunity to engage with local authority colleagues and other interested stakeholders from around Malta.
