Moderated by Alison Partridge, Remote-IT ad-hoc Expert, this Forum will focus on how small and medium-sized cities across Europe can embrace digital transformation to attract digital nomads, remote workers, and enhance the quality of life for all citizens. 

Our expert speakers will delve into topics such as:

  • Trust and ethics in digital transformation for public authorities and human-centred urban development.

  • The role of digital infrastructure and open data in attracting digital nomads.

 

Meet the speakers:

 

Haydee Sheombar is a business consultant, speaker, and researcher who has worked with leaders in both the public and private sectors. Her research activities include an affiliation with the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University Rotterdam. She has published on coordination theory and advised on topics such as digital strategy, organizational design and change, governance, and customer experience. She founded Kankan*Tree—a research-led consulting firm committed to transforming organizations and the way they engage citizens, consumers, and employees using digital technologies. 

 

 

 

Mark-Emil Talivere is an Innovation Expert at the Tallinn’s Strategic Management Officer, where he leads the city's "Test in Tallinn" and „Tallinnovation“ programs, offering businesses the opportunity to test innovative solutions in real-world environments. With a focus on fostering sustainable and scalable innovation, Mark-Emil has played a pivotal role in advancing Tallinn’s reputation as a hub for forward-thinking technology and business solutions.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Alison Partridge is a skilled, diligent, adaptable, and motivated professional with thematic expertise in tech, inclusive enterprise, entrepreneurship, and economic development in UK & European cities. She has long term experience of co-creating and implementing integrated policies and programmes in response to complex ever-changing contexts. For URBACT, since 2009 Alison has been LE of 5 different Action Planning and Transfer Networks. Alongside her European work, Alison co-founded and is now Chief Strategy Officer for OneTech, a catalyst for inclusion in the startup ecosystem.
