Summary
Architect and urban planner with 20+ years of experience and a Master’s from the UPC in Urbanism (Urban and Territorial Planning and Landscape). I bring a multidisciplinary background that combines technical expertise, applied research and project coordination to deliver integrated, locally grounded and actionable urban strategies.
I apply participatory processes that bring together residents, civil society, academia, public, political and technical actors, and the private sector. Guided by a Gender Equality and Social Inclusion + Intersectionality (GESI+) approach, I support more equitable urban development, inclusive decision-making and stronger stakeholder ownership across the full project cycle, with particular attention to underserved and underrepresented groups.
I support cities in combining collaborative mapping, territorial data systems, multi-sectoral analysis and shared decision-making to strengthen coordination, sustain long-term engagement and deliver more feasible, equitable and broadly supported urban responses. I have designed tailored urban methodologies and tools that connect spatial, multi-risk and equity criteria to diagnosis, scenario development and prioritisation, implementation and monitoring. These methods have been validated by public institutions and applied in practice, including pilot actions that were later expanded and scaled up.
My background includes coordinating capacity-building programmes for over 100 technical staff across institutional levels, engaging more than 800 participants in public consultations, contributing to 19 urban plans, and working with municipalities and other public institutions in contexts ranging from small-scale projects to multi-million euro EU-funded initiatives.
I have worked with municipalities, metropolitan and regional institutions, as well as initiatives supported by European, regional and municipal funding, including the European Commission, the Government of Catalonia, Barcelona City Council and the Aga Khan Foundation, often across challenging governance, institutional and socio-spatial contexts.
I have led mobility and accessibility studies and school-access assessments involving over 850 participants, 39 schools and more than 45,000 students to improve connectivity, equitable access to services and safer access to education. I have also co-designed on projects ranging from social housing and public facilities to safe, resilient and inclusive green public spaces, including through collaboration with UN-Habitat under the Child Friendly Cities Initiative.
