Carla Rasera is a specialist in social innovation, sustainable tourism, urban innovation and ecological transition with over 15 years of experience supporting European cities and public organisations in designing and delivering impactful territorial projects.
She has a strong background in participatory governance, network animation, and the coordination of complex multi-stakeholder initiatives.
From 2017 to 2024, Carla directed the Europe Cooperation Unit at AViTeM, leading EU-funded programmes on just transition, sustainable urban development and social inclusion. She has contributed to major EU projects including FIRST MILE, RECETAS, COOL NOONS and DIAMS.
Since 2024, she has served as an expert for the European Urban Initiative (EUI).
Her career spans mediation, community engagement, behavioural and smart tactics and the development of social innovation ecosystems.
