Summary
I am a senior executive and researcher, currently serving as the COO and Country Manager for Greece at the energy tech scale-up NET2GRID. Holding a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and an M.Sc. in Sustainable Energy Systems, my technical expertise centers on the energy transition, smart cities, and energy data analytics.
A significant portion of my professional focus is dedicated to assessing high-impact innovation and urban development proposals, and I have extensive experience acting as an expert evaluator, assessor, and validated expert for major European and national funding bodies. I am currently a Validated Expert for URBACT IV, specifically focusing on the Energy Transition thematic area and the design of transnational exchange activities.
Furthermore, I serve as an Expert Assessor for the European Urban Initiative under the Energy Transition panel, and as an International Expert for the Driving Urban Transitions Partnership. Since 2018, I have been continuously managing the evaluation of complex EU funding programs for the European Commission, serving as an Expert Evaluator for both the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency and the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency.
My extensive evaluation portfolio also includes ongoing work as an expert for the European Institute of Innovation and Technology for Urban Mobility, the Clean Energy Transition Partnership, European Cooperation in Science and Technology, and the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation. Through these roles, I combine my deep-tech academic background with my practical executive experience to rigorously evaluate the scientific merit, strategic relevance, and sustainable impact of complex urban and energy-related proposals.
