Summary

Director-level EU policy strategist, Chief Officer, and expert advisor with 15+ years of leadership across research, innovation, and urban transformation. I serve as a validated Lead Expert for the URBACT IV programme and contribute to the Driving Urban Transitions (DUT) European Partnership, supporting cities and regions in delivering integrated, resilient, and green urban futures.

I have held senior advisory roles for the European Commission, including as Vice Chair, Panel Chair, and evaluator for Horizon Europe, EIT, MSCA, ERC, and LIFE, shaping R&I policy and funding priorities at programme and mission level. My cross-cutting expertise spans digital transformation, participatory governance, funding and resourcing strategies, and policy design for urban transitions.

As CFO and former Head of Operations in high-impact EU projects and EIT Culture & Creativity, I led financial strategy, public-private partnerships, and multi-country delivery. I have consulted ministries, municipalities, universities, and R&I agencies across the EU, supporting systemic innovation in health, climate, urbanism, and cultural digitisation.

My track record includes over 20 scientific publications, keynote talks at high-level forums (e.g. UNESCO World Humanities Conference), and international recognition as a thought leader bridging institutions, civil society, and urban innovation ecosystems. I hold certifications in International Diplomacy and Risk Management, and continue to drive mission-oriented collaboration across disciplines, sectors, and borders.
