Summary
9 years of working experience in the EC and UN Systems, author of multiple official reports and strategies. Specialized in policy making, strategy setting, monitoring and reporting, stakeholder engagement, partnership creation, team and project management.
As Team Leader and Policy Officer in the European Commission (2017-2023), I initiated and contributed to workstreams for the green and digital transition of construction, the urban and built environment. My background in Architecture Engineering (Bachelors and Masters NTUA, working experience in Greece and the UAE).
As Senior Expert for the Sustainable United Nations Facility (2024- ), I am working on the reinforcement of the sustainability performance of the UN system towards climate neutrality, including the mid-term review of the strategy, data collection and strategic recommendations for emissions' reductions of facilities and operation worldwide.
Architect Engineer (Bachelor and Master). Global and EU-level objectives on climate neutrality and their influence on national and local strategies are the center of my PhD candidature (2020-2025) in the faculty of Spatial Engineering and Development of AUTh and of my contribution as Expert in EU projects.
