I have extensive experience collaborating with people from diverse nationalities and backgrounds, and I am driven by curiosity and passion for continuous learning.
I am an Industrial Engineer with a PhD cum laude from the Universities of Málaga, Seville, the Basque Country, and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, through an Interuniversity Program in Electrical Energy Systems. I also hold a Master’s degree in Electrical Energy Systems. Professionally, I have been working at Endesa, part of the Enel Group, since 2010, holding various positions in innovation within the Distribution Networks and Energy Retail business lines. My expertise focuses on smart cities, smart grids, customer empathy, e-mobility, living labs and distributed energy generation and storage, covering geographies like Spain, Portugal, Italy, Romania, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Perú.
Currently, I serve as an Innovation Program Manager in Enel Grids, identifying solutions to key business challenges, developing projects and proof-of-concept trials in real-world environments, and driving scale-up initiatives. This includes integrating innovations into tenders, technical specifications, standards, and large-scale deployments.
I have extensive experience collaborating with municipal, regional, national, and European entities on both funded and self-financed projects. I have led consortia involving universities, research centers, startups, and large corporations. Since 2019, I have also been an expert in European Union programs such as Urban Innovative Actions (EU-UIA), supporting the municipality of Breda, Netherlands, in the AirQon project. Currently, I collaborate with the European Urban Initiative (EU-EUI) and the municipality of Viana do Castelo, Portugal, in their Viana S+T+ARTS Center project.
To tackle challenges effectively, I frequently apply methodologies such as Agile or Design Thinking, fostering a dynamic and interactive approach to innovation. I am experienced in facilitating co-creation workshops, stakeholder engagement, and multidisciplinary collaboration processes. My work is driven by a user-centered mindset, ensuring that solutions are not only technically sound but also practical, scalable, and aligned with real-world needs.
