Summary
As Head of Department in the city of Roeselare, I was responsible amongst others for the development of the climate adaptation strategy and it's implementation. As business development expert at the Flemish Environment Agency, which is responsible amongst others for climate adaptation in our region, I contributed to the development of new projects, new working methods and new services to stakeholders, not at least local authorities, always in an outside-in approach.
Internationally, I worked as ResidentTwinning Advisor in an EU funded Twinning project, where I organised numerous workshops and trainings on different topics, thereby sharing and deepening knowledge of the counterpart. I did this as well on a smaller scale in a few Taiex events. I participated in several Interreg and Life projects and I am member of the EU Urban Agenda Partnership on Greening Cities.
I like to work in a data- and factbased approach, picking up on the 'what's in for me' from the perspective of the counterpart, and concise and to-the-point communication.
