Summary

Urbanist and researcher specialized in metadesign, participatory innovation, and project management, with over a decade of experience bridging academic research and applied practice. I have coordinated citizen innovation labs, designed and managed urban innovation, and developed methodologies that connect civic engagement with strategic urban planning.

As Lead Researcher at Urban IxD and Director of Programs and Methodologies at Instituto Cocidades, I co-develop tools for territorial diagnosis, participatory foresight, and policy co-design, applied in contexts such as municipal masterplan revisions, innovation districts, and urban media strategies. Previously, I coordinated LabIC Novale, a citizen innovation lab that became a reference in Brazil for inclusive and experimental methodologies in urban governance. My trajectory also includes contributions to UNESCO’s I-Hubs initiative and the design of platforms for the orchestration of participatory technologies.

I am motivated by the challenge of turning complex urban processes into actionable strategies, fostering transnational cooperation, and sustaining diverse stakeholder networks. My expertise lies in orchestrating learning environments, strengthening local innovation ecosystems, and aligning community-driven insights with systemic urban policies.
