Summary
I am working on the specific context of temporary use since 2009 as the project manager of ZZZ - ZwischenZeitZentrale in the city of Bremen, Germany. With the city of Bremen I have been involved in the Urbact projects TUTUR and REFill. In both we were sharing our best practice experience in Bremen. Since 2023 we organize the national network on temporary use in Germany. Beside my work as a project manager i´m experienced in sharing knowledge, doing workshops and consulting differnt stakeholders.
In my experience the short termed projects on vacant sites are an excellent instrument to initiate new usages, to involve people in city delopment and to re-integrate places in the urban usage. Often it is working on a low cost level and connections to informal use are close.
