Summary
I help cities realise their potentials by activating already existing resources and facilitating collaborative processes of transformation.
My expertise: I am a seasoned facilitator and expert in social innovation and participatory governance, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset, an energetic personality and a deep commitment to green and democratic transformation of our cities.
Results: Over the past seven years, I have led the succesful transformation of 25+ neighbourhoods across Europe, facilitating productive and creative collaborations and among municipalities, local businesses, real estate developers, knowledge institutions, and citizens.
My work consistently results in dynamic, attractive and resilient multifunctional urban spaces which boost the local economy and represent living examples of innovative local solutions to global challenges related to democracy, welfare, climate change, aging populations.
Examples of my work: Examples of my work are Demokrati Garage (Copenhagen), the Market Hall (Nykøbing Falster, Denmark), Urban Power House (Riihimäki, Finland), and Cascina Falchera (Turin, Italy).
Recognitions: As a recognised New European Bauhaus (NEB) expert in citizen and stakeholder engagement, I advise local authorities on embedding NEB principles (aesthetics, sustainability and inclusion) into local policies, and territorial transformation. As a URBACT expert I have facilitated knowledge exchange within the topic of local economy, tourism, youth participation and entrepreneurship at the URBACT City festival.
