I am an urban planner (engineer) and geographer with a passion for creative placemaking, participatory planning, and cultural activation. My work connects people, culture, and urban space to foster inclusive, vibrant, and sustainable communities. With experience in co-creation, stakeholder engagement, cultural productions, and tactical urbanism, I specialize in unlocking the social and cultural potential of public spaces through collaboration and creativity.
I believe in the power of culture and community to shape cities, and my mission is to create places where civic life, cultural diversity, and social innovation can thrive. By blending hardware (physical space), software (community and culture), and orgware (governance and processes), I strive to design urban environments that promote belonging, well-being, and long-term resilience.
Throughout my career, I have facilitated transnational exchange and learning activities, supported cities in designing integrated and participatory strategies, and developed urban living labs as testing grounds for collective action. I am a validated URBACT Lead Expert in Urban Design, Participative Governance, Culture, and Social Innovation, and currently serve as co-founder of STIPO Greece and founding board member of Placemaking Europe, advancing community-led urban transformation across Europe.
