Understanding target groups and labour market behaviour at the heart of the discussions.

On 24–25 June 2026, Network4Work partners will gather in Varberg, Sweden, for the second transnational meeting of the project. Hosted by the Municipality of Varberg, the event will bring together representatives of all partner organisations to continue the network's exchange and learning process.

The meeting takes place during the "Understand" phase of the project, which focuses on gaining a deeper understanding of Nyíregyháza's Employment Forum Good Practice, establishing URBACT Local Groups and exploring local labour market challenges.

A key focus of the meeting will be understanding target groups and labour market behaviour. Through workshops, discussions and peer-learning activities, partners will explore methods for identifying the needs, motivations and challenges of different target groups. Participants will also learn about practical tools for needs assessment and data collection that can support the development of effective local employment policies.

The programme will provide an opportunity for partners to report on the progress of their URBACT Local Groups, share experiences from their local activities and discuss questions related to the transfer process. The meeting will also include an outdoor reflection session hosted by Varberg and a study visit showcasing local cooperation between education providers and employers.

As the project continues, the meeting will help partners strengthen their understanding of local labour market realities and prepare for the next steps of the transfer journey.

We look forward to sharing the outcomes of the meeting soon.
