All nurseries, kindergartens, schools, branches of higher education institutions, social, sports, and senior clubs, as well as individual citizens, took part by cleaning their yards and adjacent areas.
As part of the “BiodiverCity” project under the URBACT Programme, the Municipality of Vratsa planted a Miyawaki forest – an innovative technique for rapidly creating dense, resilient, and biodiverse mini-forests by planting native species at high density.
