Looking for Project Partners

Callosa de Segura (Spain) is leading the CROP-CIRCLE Action Network, an initiative designed to transform traditional local crops and natural resources into high-value biomaterials. Our network is already at an advanced stage, aiming to replace plastics and synthetic materials with sustainable alternatives that foster a circular bioeconomy and green reindustrialization. A core objective is the economic optimization of the entire bio-based value chain, ensuring that the transition to natural fibers and biomass is both environmentally sustainable and commercially viable for our territories.

We are currently seeking to finalize our consortium with municipalities (cities) that want to lead this industrial transition. While we have a preference for partners located in Central and Northern Europe to ensure geographical diversity, we remain open to expressions of interest from cities in Southern Europe that bring a strong strategic fit to the network. Please note that our quota for "non-city" partners is already filled, so we are exclusively looking for urban authorities at this stage.

Over 30 months, partners will collaborate to revitalize their local agricultural heritage and create specialized green jobs. Through URBACT’s methodology, each city will implement Small Scale Actions on the ground to test innovative solutions and develop a tailored Action Portfolio. The final result will be a European Actions Playbook, serving as a strategic guide for urban resilience and industrial modernization.

If your city is committed to reducing its carbon footprint by valorizing local natural resources such as cork, wood, fibers, or agricultural waste, we invite you to join us in shaping the future of European green industry.
