Charitable Organization “Charitable Fund TES Fund” proposes the development of a European cross-border thematic tourism route connecting small and medium municipalities across several countries. Many regions in Eastern Europe possess valuable cultural, historical, natural, and gastronomic assets, but these attractions remain fragmented and insufficiently connected to wider European tourism networks.

The project aims to create a flexible European tourism route that can combine different mobility formats, including cycling, hiking, car tourism, and water-based tourism where applicable. The route may include thematic directions such as castles and fortifications, wine tourism, gastronomy, cultural heritage, traditional crafts, and natural landscapes. This modular structure allows each partner to contribute according to their local strengths while forming a coherent European tourism product.

The initiative will focus on mapping attractions, connecting existing local and regional routes, developing joint branding, and creating digital tools such as interactive maps and promotional platforms. The project will also promote sustainable tourism and support local SMEs, wineries, cultural institutions, and tourism service providers.

A key objective is to connect an already developed route in Eastern Europe with broader European tourism networks, strengthening visibility and cross-border mobility. This will help create a continuous European tourism corridor linking multiple countries.

Charitable Fund TES Fund already has a preliminary route concept developed in Eastern Europe and experience working with municipalities and tourism stakeholders. We already have partners from Slovakia and Romania who support this initiative and are ready to participate in the project.

We are currently looking for a committed Lead Partner to lead the consortium and coordinate the project.

We are open to cooperation with municipalities, tourism organizations, and regional stakeholders interested in building a scalable European cross-border tourism route based on cultural heritage, gastronomy, sustainable mobility, and innovation.
