The project puts forward a holistic, person‑centred model of integrated lifelong guidance to replace fragmented, siloed services by coordinating education, employment, social, health and youth departments and engaging local actors. The model will provide personalised, continuous and accessible support across educational, professional and social transitions, prioritise vulnerable groups to reduce structural inequalities, and promote social inclusion and urban cohesion. The model aligns with European priorities on social rights, lifelong learning, and integrated urban development.
The aim is to develop and test an integrated urban model of lifelong guidance that enables participating cities to coordinate services and local actors to offer continuous and personalised support to citizens, with the aim of promoting equal opportunities, social inclusion and more equitable life trajectories. Framed within Viladecans’ Zero School Dropout Mission and the Viladecans 2030 strategy.
As the main specific objectives; strengthen local intersectoral governance to coordinate education, employment, social, health and youth services; improve equitable access by removing barriers and prioritising the most disadvantaged; deliver integrated, personalised guidance across key life transitions (education, training, work and social); design person‑centred pathways that boost autonomy and decision‑making; explore digital tools to enhance accessibility, continuity and coordination; and co‑design a replicable model for peer learning and transfer between cities.
Partners sought: Cities interested in improving guidance services from an integrated perspective. The project is conceived as a flexible framework in which each partner city can work on integrated guidance according to its own priorities (youth, adults, employment, social inclusion, educational transitions, etc.), adapting the model to its local context and contribution to the network’s collective learning.
