Re - Gen unveils “the space that brings us together” in Verona

Edited on 18/11/2025

On Thursday 25 September, the Re-Gen Project brought young people and parents together once again to share a social aperitif, discover the secret of the coloured circles in Piazza Brodolini and watch the video of the song created by the young people in May.

Piazza Brodolini is the heart of Borgo Roma, whose buildings are home to young people of all ages, who a few months ago were involved in the RE-Gen project to paint several colourful circles that brighten up the square, according to the design by architects Rosalba Ferba (Re-Gen ULG Coordinator) and Francesca Bonadiman.

To publicise the initiative, the Le Fate and Nuova Acropoli associations, in collaboration with the Municipality of Verona and Spazio ABC, organised an event in the open spaces between the buildings, showing the video of the “Canzone di Piazza Brodolini” (Song of Piazza Brodolini), sung by the young people under the guidance of life coach Marika Viali.

Among those present, the Councillor for Youth Policy Jacopo Buffolo and Paolo Martini of the Municipality of Verona renewed the institutions' commitment to pursuing urban regulation policies in the Borgo Roma and Golosine area. Marco Buemi and Raffaella Lioce (Lead Partner and Lead Expert) invited young people to continue sharing creative projects with a focus on public areas, while designer Giovanni Rozio and Paolo Marocchio from Le Fate recalled the initiatives carried out in previous months and the results achieved.
