Inside the IAP: Strategies, Challenges, and Best Practices
The Transnational Meeting held in Sofia in July 2024 allowed the network to delve into the most exciting part of their path: looking forward, the masterclass by Ed Thorpe provided insights to develop the Integrated Actions Plans that will project the cities into a future of active, sustainable, and inclusive mobility.
In mid-September, while the European Mobility Week unfolded all around Europe, the partners met in Druskininkai to taste its intense focus on wellness and accessibility, inspiring S.M.ALL cities for the upcoming design and implementation of their pilot initiatives.
Sustainability and Inclusive Mobility: towards shared solutions and Pilot projects
Summer's meetings unveiled the strong demand for integrated plans and affordable, customised, scalable, and effective plans to address the ambitious objectives of the network. Thanks to the Lead Expert guidance, the hands-on workshops from the Ad-hoc Experts, the inspiring views of the keynote speakers, and an outstandingly friendly atmosphere among them, the cities gained methodological consistency and valuable inputs to reach the peak of their planning journey.
Citizens Engagement and Innovation in Urban Planning
At the very heart of each APN project, the integration of citizens' engagement in the planning process demonstrates its potential in fostering innovation and promoting new visions for cities' development.
