  • Viladecans holds the kick-off meeting of ON BOARD Phase 2

    Last month, representatives from the six member cities of the On Board project attended the 2nd-phase kick-off meeting. The event took place at Miquel Martí i Pol school in Viladecans on February 5th and 6th. Politicians and technicians from Nantes (France), Tallinn (Estonia), Albergaria-a-Velha (Portugal), Halmstad (Sweden) and Poznań (Poland) went to Viladecans with the shared idea that local governments are key actors in citizen education.

  • Bees and pollination are important factors for biodiversity as well as for the economy

    Without bees 75% of our food plants would not yield any fruits at all, there would be a major economy lost in crop production, wildflowers would not ripen seeds and biodiversity would drastically decrease. Lately numerous great initiatives started to protect bees and their pollinator counterparts – they deserve our support as they also help us. One of these kinds of actions arose at our project partner Hegyvidék (Budapest, Hungary).

  • Transfer test of the good practice: the Murcia meeting
