10 Innovation Transfer Networks starten vanaf 1 september hun URBACT-reis na het besluit van het Monitoring Committee van URBACT op 28 juni 2024. Den Helder en Amersfoort doen mee vanuit Nederland!

Ko iščemo dobre prakse trajnostnega urbanega razvoja, vedno znova naletimo na Gent, mesto z 320.000 prebivalci v flamskem delu Belgije. Gent je pionir na mnogo področjih. Že v devetdesetih je začel uvajati politike za spodbujanje kolesarjenja, kar ga v kombinaciji z učinkovitim javnim prevozom uvršča med vodilna evropska mesta na področju trajnostne mobilnosti. Zelo prodorni so tudi ko gre za začasno rabo, z umeščanjem različnih programov v degradirana območja in stavbe oživljajo dele mesta in krepijo družbeno povezanost.

Hivatalosan is megkezdődött az EU Tanácsának magyar soros elnöksége. Ismerje meg, hogy mely településpolitikai prioritások szerepelnek napirenden 2024 decemberéig.

Magyarország vállalta az Európai Unió Tanácsának elnökségét 2024. július 1. - 2024. december 31. között, a 2023-2024-es spanyol-belga-magyar elnökségi trió utolsó tagjaként.

How can temporary use contribute to the process of transformation

Temporary use has emerged as a significant strategy across Europe to address the challenges of vacancy and urban transformation. Projects such as the URBACT networks and Horizon 2020's T-Factor have highlighted the potential of temporary use to creatively repurpose empty spaces, supporting local economies and fostering social cohesion. By utilizing vacant buildings and brownfields for short-term initiatives, temporary use not only revitalizes areas but also provides a testing ground for long-term sustainable solutions.

Intergenerational Festival in Poljčane

At the beginning of this summer, we organized an Intergenerational Festival in the meadow under the Čreti hayrack in the Municipality of Poljčane as part of the URBACT program's BiodiverCity action network.

Call for Good Practices is nu [GESLOTEN]!

In deze call kunnen steden goede voorbeelden van duurzame ontwikkeling in de stad aandragen om als Good Practice te worden beoordeeld. De gekozen Good Practices worden uitgelicht op het Urbact City festival van 8-10 april 2025 in Wroclaw. Een uitgelezen kans om als stad te laten zien hoe je duurzame stedelijke ontwikkeling in de praktijk uitvoert en inspiratie op te doen vanuit andere steden in Europa.
