CITIES4CSR project has just received the Lexmark "Circular Economy" award as part of the 5th edition of the #CRESCOaward contest. Lexmark is a provider of printing and imaging products, software, solutions and services that help customers save time and money. According to its particular commitment to sustainability and circular economy, Lexmark found in CITIES4CSR the values and opportunities the company shares and applies in the entire print lifecycle.
The prize was awarded to Comune di Milano representatives on 19th November 2020, on the 37th National Association of Italian Municipalities assembly.
The #CRESCOaward Sustainable Cities contest, promoted by Fondazione Sodalitas in collaboration with the Italian Association of Municipalities and with the patronage of the European Commission and Ministero dell'Ambiente, rewards the commitment of Italian Municipalities for implementing sustainable development initiatives in line with the objectives of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
The 5th edition of the contest saw 96 projects presented by 83 Bodies (Municipalities, Metropolitan Cities, Mountain Communities or Unions of Municipalities throughout Italy).
