The session began with an introduction to the basics of public procurement legislation, including the main principles and different procurement procedures. This was followed by practical guidance on the use of the e-Procurement platform, with a particular focus on how businesses can submit an offer and how they can register their interest in order to be considered for future opportunities involving works, supplies or services for the City.
The event also provided an opportunity for more informal exchange. Through table conversations and networking, local businesses were able to discuss their questions and experiences directly with representatives of the City.
