The Hackathon was designed as a structured team collaboration, where participants, supported by mentors and experts from various fields, worked on proposals for concrete challenges related specifically to the revitalization of the Busoler area. Emphasis was placed on integrating social inclusion, healthy living, and sustainability, and the ideas generated during the workshop will guide further development within the IAP and potentially inform future urban planning strategies focused on youth spaces and sports zones.
Through fieldwork and creative teamwork, participants developed proposals for a multifunctional public space that meets the needs of young people, encourages physical activity and social inclusion, operates year-round, and adheres to sustainability principles.
The day was marked by positive energy, collaboration, and innovation. At the end of the Hackathon, the top teams were announced:
1st place went to the team “Le cinque fiere” from the Italian Secondary School "Dante Alighieri", while 2nd place was awarded to the team “USUUC” from Pula Gymnasium. The winners received Decathlon gift vouchers as a recognition of their effort and contribution to improving local public space.
