During the event, participants received an overview of the RECUP project’s objectives, methodology, and international partnership. The presentation highlighted how the project has used culture as a tool to strengthen local communities, foster social cohesion, and encourage participation through collaborative planning and community-led initiatives.
A key focus of the programme was the presentation of the Gazdagrét pilot action, Gazdagréti Ünnepelő, a month-long Advent event series implemented in December 2025. Through more than twenty programmes organised across ten venues and involving eight local partners, the initiative engaged over 600 participants and generated new local partnerships and community connections. The audience also had the opportunity to see photos and examples from the pilot action, illustrating its impact and vibrant community spirit.

The event also showcased the project’s main lessons learned and introduced the Continuity Plan, which outlines recommendations for maintaining and expanding the achievements of RECUP. These include establishing a regular local roundtable, strengthening local networks, mapping community assets, and supporting grassroots initiatives through mentoring and small-scale funding schemes.
The programme concluded with an open discussion, where participants shared their experiences and ideas for future cooperation. The conversation confirmed the strong community potential of Gazdagrét and the value of the partnerships built throughout the project. Participants expressed a shared commitment to continuing these collaborative processes and exploring how the RECUP methodology could be applied in other neighbourhoods of Újbuda.

The Final Dissemination Event demonstrated that RECUP has successfully contributed to building stronger local connections and creating a solid foundation for future community-led cultural development in Újbuda.
