ULG VIEWS, Siiri Tiis

Edited on 16/11/2020

URBACT Local Groups are key in the construction of partner cities’ Educational Innovation Networks (EIN). They represent the different stakeholders that will take part in the future Educational Innovation Networks and they are contributing to lay its foundations.

What do the ULG members think about the EIN and its future? Todays it's Siiri Tiis turn to tell us about it.

- What's your name and what do you do?

I am Siiri Tiis and I work as a kindergarten teacher in Pelguranna kindergarten in Tallinn, Estonia.

- What is your role within the network?

In the URBACT On Board Tallinn network I represent the teachers form our kindergarten. I also have helped to present and develop the project in our kindergarten and in the network.

- What do you think the network can contribute in your city?

I think it should help bring together different companies, educational institutions and parents in order to create a network of like-minded people who stand for the development of educational innovation and early entrepreneurship.

- What would you like the EIN to be in 3 years?

I expect it to be a working network that provides information and connections. It would also be good to maintain connection with the countries that were engaged in the project.
