URBACT are offering a free online course to equip cities with the knowledge and tools required to embed social and environmental criteria into their public procurement processes.
This course draws upon the activities of Procure and Making Spend Matter’s networks, and URBACT’s involvement in the Urban Agenda Partnership on Innovative and Responsible Procurement.
The course is targeted at anyone with an interest in procurement and changing the way it is undertaken in cities. You could be:

- A civil servant working in strategy or procurement departments,

- Or you could be someone completely different and willing to learn!
Within this course you will be able to learn from the Making Spend Matter partner cities including: Preston, Pamplona, Koszalin and Schaerbeek.
The course is made up of 13 video which follow the different steps of the procurement cycle.
