Meeting of Good Practices (upon invitation)

Open to all URBACT City Festival participants, the following study visits will take place:
- Microgrants (URBACT Good Practice)
- Wroclaw Urban Farm (URBACT Good Practice)
- Wroclaw Old Tram (URBACT Good Practice)
- GreenPlace (URBACT Action Planning Networks)
- Visit of the old town of Wroclaw

Award Ceremony of the 116 Good Practices
The URBACT City Festival kicks-off in a fancy way with shading light to the 116 URBACT Good Practices.
Brought altogether for the first time, these URBACT Good Practices will receive the recognition they deserve for their integrated, participatory approach, their positive results at local level, and their transfer potential to other European cities.
On the programme, high-level speeches, photo call, dinner, live music. Open to all participants of the URBACT City Festival.

National networking around coffee
If you wish to start the day with an informal networking over coffee with people from the same country or who speak the same language as you, then this is for you! This networking per country/language will be facilitated by the respective National URBACT Points, who will explain what URBACT is, who's involved, and who will put you in touch with other European peers according to your needs and interests.
Ideal for those who:
-want to know more about URBACT before they deep dive into the URBACT City Festival,
-attend for the first time an URBACT City Festival,
-want to connect and exchange with other peers who have experience in URBACT.
For those already familiar with URBACT, it's a great opportunity to catch up over hot coffee and snacks!

Launch of the URBACT Call for Transfer Networks
On the occasion of the URBACT City Festival, URBACT launches its Call for Transfer Networks. These networks aim to transfer URBACT Good Practices to other European cities from September 2025 to end of 2027. Learn what these Transfer Networks are about, how they work, who is concerned, and what are the important dates to pin to your calendar.
Good Practices marketplace (part 1)
Start discovering the URBACT Good Practices in a speed networking mode. Every 15 minutes you'll have to move from a practice to another. Good Practice representatives will first briefly present their practice before you ask them any questions.
Do you want to take your time and get to know a good practice better? Then book a bilateral meeting for the afternoon and the next day's marketplaces!

Attend the parallel sessions where the good practices are presented from a thematic point of view (mobility, local economy, climate action, etc.).
Otherwise, take the time to have more in-depth discussions with the good practices in the Marketplace. To do this, make sure you have booked a meeting in the morning marketplace or book a meeting for the next day.

Transfer solutions and challenges
Get immersed in open conversations with cities and representatives of different EU-funded programmes and initiatives like the European Urban Initiative (EUI), Net Zero Cities Twinning, International Urban and Regional Cooperation (IURC), and URBACT.
Discover the transfer solutions they offer, discuss about the benefits of transfer at local level, and exchange on how to overcome common (transfer) challenges like securing political support, engaging stakeholders, coordinating resources, or developing key skills.
