The URBACT Secretariat organises a series of four webinars exploring how cities can collect, analyse, monitor, and turn social data into effective public policies. Each session will focus on a different step of the social data cycle, sharing practical insights and experiences from cities across Europe.
This first webinar sets the scene by looking at the current state of social data at city level. Cities collect a large amount of social data, but it often remains siloed and underused.
What social data do cities actually have?
What data are they missing?
And what common challenges do cities face across Europe when it comes to accessing, managing and using social data for policymaking?
