As one of the final outputs of the Beyond the Urban (URBACT IV) network, the partners have produced a new video entitled “Final product: A shared journey of learning, testing and planning a new kind of urban–rural mobility”. Bringing together voices from the ten partner territories, the video shows how cities, small towns and rural areas across Europe have collaborated to rethink everyday mobility, from school routes and regional bus systems to digital tools and local hubs that connect people and places.
In the video, local representatives and technical teams reflect on what they have learned and the actions from their Integrated Action Plans that inspire them the most. They also discuss how they will move from planning to implementation after the project ends. Combining interviews and images from all partners, the video offers a concise, human summary of Beyond the Urban’s shared journey towards more sustainable, inclusive and connected rural–urban mobility.
To complement this final video, we have produced five shorter thematic videos, each focusing on a specific part of the Beyond the Urban journey: Inspiring actions for change, Co-creation and key learnings, Positive insights and surprises, Facing the future and Inspiring others to join the journey. These videos can be watched independently and are available below.
