On 8 October 2025, the URBACT IV Monitoring Committee approved 25 Transfer Networks.
An URBACT Transfer Network will allow the transfer of an URBACT Good Practice, already in place by the Lead Partner, to the other cities of the partnership. The topics of the URBACT Good Practices to be transferred vary from climate action, gender equality, mobility, public procurement, to local development and participatory governance. The networks will kick off their journey on 1 November 2025 and conclude the transfer process on 30 April 2028.
The 25 Transfer Networks gather 181 partners from 28 countries, out of which 90% are very small, small and medium size cities. Among those 181 partners in the new networks, 116 (64%) are new to URBACT IV!
In terms of geographical representation, the top number of partners come from Portugal and Italy (19 each), Spain (17), Greece and Ukraine (14 each).
