Looking for Project Partners

The objective of the STEM4ALL project is to enhance and consolidate local policies that foster inclusion and promote STEM pathways from a gender-sensitive perspective, with a particular focus on girls throughout all stages of education. The project will do so by establishing a transnational learning network of European cities facing a shared challenge, by developing transferable URBACT Local Action Plans, and building on previous knowledge and experience acquired from the WeSTEMEU Interreg Europe project.

 

Specific objectives:

  1. To integrate a dual perspective into each municipal context on how to better assist the integration and promotion of girls and young women in the STEM sectors: one based on the learning generated among project partners, and the other on the incorporation of expert inputs from the ULG into each local context.

  2. To generate local synergies among the different stakeholders represented in the URBACT Local Groups (ULG), building on interregional learning. These learnings will be translated into local initiatives aligned with the project’s overall objective, connecting different sectors and fields (including business, schools, universities and the public sector) around a shared purpose at local level.

  3. To incorporate STEM initiatives with a direct impact on citizens, based on the learning generated through the project and the inputs provided by the URBACT Local Groups, including the definition and implementation of concrete pilot actions.

 

For the STEM4ALL project, the Lead Partner will be Igualada Municipality, who has extensive experience in participating and coordinating EU-funded projects, such as:

- WeSTEMEU (as the Lead partner)

- URBACT 4DCities (as the Lead partner)

- Playful Paradigm II

 

And many others.

 

STEM4ALL is looking for ambitious partners ready to close the gender gap in STEM and turn local commitment into concrete action. Joining the network means becoming part of a European partnership that shares the same challenge: how to inspire, support and empower more girls to engage with STEM from an early age and throughout their educational journey.

 

Through URBACT, partners will gain access to a dynamic space for exchange, experimentation and visibility, where local ideas can be tested, strengthened and transformed into transferable solutions. STEM4ALL offers partners the opportunity to position themselves at the forefront of inclusive STEM policies, connect with peers across Europe and contribute to a shared movement for more diverse, equal and future-ready STEM ecosystems.
