  • “Small Sports for Big Achievements” – A Children's Sports Day in Pula

    On Monday, May 12, 2025, Marsovo Polje in Pula was transformed into a large sports playground, bringing together more than 220 students from 5th to 8th grade for the full-day event “Small Sports for Big Achievements,”. The event was designed to encourage children to explore their sports skills through play, competition, and teamwork in a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment. Its goal was to promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and the active use of public spaces through sports and play – in line with the core values of the Re-Gen project.

  • SPORT & THE CITY: Street Culture, Sports & Urban Regeneration in Verona

    SPORT & THE CITY is Verona’s Street Culture and Sports Festival, part of the European project Re-Gen, promoted by the Municipality of Verona with local partners Le Fate ETS and Nuova Acropoli. The events, held on May 10 and May 17, engaged young people from the neighborhoods of Santa Lucia, Golosine, and Borgo Roma through sports, music, art, and community activities. Alongside the festival, FABRICA URBANA Workshop explored urban regeneration in Borgo Roma area.

  • Internationat Meeting in Daugavpils

    Daugavpils hosted the second Re-Gen partners meeting

    From 31st May to 1st June 2024, Daugavpils (Latvia) hosted the second core meeting of the international partners of the URBACT project "Public space regeneration through integrated urban sports hubs for the participation of young citizens" Re-Gen.

  • Xtreme Days Festival: celebrating sport in every dimension

    The largest Italian festival dedicated to action and outdoor sports—the only one held entirely in an urban setting—started in Friuli Venezia Giulia, in a region bordering Austria and Slovenia.

    In the beginning of June, the city of Sacile (PN) hosted the 10th edition of the Xtreme Days Festival: four days celebrating sport in every dimension—competition, pushing personal limits, direct experience, but also sport as entertainment, culture, and a source of inspiration.
