Από το Δίκτυο Μεταφοράς Καλής Πρακτικής ACTive NGOs σε δίκτυα αλληλεγγύης: τα κοινωνικά οικοσυστήματα κατά τη διάρκεια και μετά την πανδημία COVID-19

Η κρίση της πανδημίας COVID-19 διατάραξε σε μεγάλο βαθμό τις δραστηριότητες της ΜΚΟ, NGO Houses, μία πλατφόρμα συνεργασίας μεταξύ μη κυβερνητικών οργανώσεων και του δήμου, καθώς και των κοινωνικών οικοσυστημάτων τους. Ενώ το απαγορευτικό (lockdown) και οι κανόνες κοινωνικής απόστασης έχουν καταστήσει αδύνατες τις περισσότερες δραστηριότητες αυτών των χώρων, πολλές ΜΚΟ μετακίνησαν τις δραστηριότητές τους στο διαδίκτυο και έγιναν πρωταγωνιστές σε υπάρχοντα ή αναδυόμενα δίκτυα αλληλεγγύης. Οι υπάρχουσες τοπικές κοινότητες και τα δίκτυα αλληλεγγύης αποδείχθηκαν ισχυρό πλεονέκτημα για την αντιμετώπιση της κρίσης: σε γειτονιές και πόλεις όπου υπήρχαν ήδη μηχανισμοί αλληλεγγύης και φροντίδας, οι ΜΚΟ και οι αστικοί χώροι μπόρεσαν να οργανωθούν και να παρέχουν στις κοινότητές τους τα απαραίτητα αγαθά και υπηρεσίες. Προσεγγίσαμε τις συνεργαζόμενες πόλεις-εταίρους του δικτύου μεταφοράς καλής πρακτικής, ACTive NGOs, του URBACT προκειμένου να διερευνήσουμε πώς οι ΜΚΟ και τα τοπικά οικοσυστήματά τους ανταποκρίθηκαν στην κρίση και συμπλήρωσαν το έργο των Δήμων.

Το πιλοτικό πρόγραμμα δράσης C-Change: Δημιουργικά Μηνύματα για την Κλιματική Αλλαγή

Το έργο C-Change δημιούργησε ένα Πιλοτικό Πρόγραμμα Δράσης (ΠΠΔ) σε καθεμία από τις συνεργαζόμενες πόλεις-εταίρους. Το ΠΠΔ παρείχε χρηματοδότηση για καλλιτέχνες και καλλιτεχνικούς οργανισμούς προκειμένου να δημιουργήσει ένα έργο που όχι μόνο θα εκπαιδεύσει, αλλά και θα επηρεάσει την αλλαγή συμπεριφοράς σε σχέση με την κλιματική δράση.

Mantova's reflection of delivering carbon literacy training in their own city. 

The Mantova carbon literacy training gave some basic information on the science of climate change, using interactive activities and videos with experts speaking. The second part of the session focussed on the role of arts and culture and what can be achieved within cultural organisations and through their "spheres of influences

Continuing with our city partner updates - here is Mantova's reflection of delivering carbon literacy training in their own city. 

Their training gave some basic information on the science of climate change, using interactive activities and videos with experts speaking. The second part of the session focused on the role of arts and culture and what can be achieved within cultural organisations and through their "spheres of influences"

"All is not lost when it comes to climate change"

Carbon Literacy: “An awareness of the carbon dioxide costs and impacts of everyday activities, and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community and organisational basis.”

Today, over 14,000 individuals and more than 40 organisations are Carbon Literate. We can now include the C-Change network and some of their city staff to this list. 
 

As part of the Manchester study visit in October last year,  a bespoke carbon literacy training course was delivered to the network. 
The original content of the course was updated to respond to the climate emergency and delivered to project partners including representatives from their arts and culture sector. 

The training was then to be replicated in their own cities and we can hear from Agueda who have already done this successfully.
