URBACT Good Practices 2024

Browse through the newly updated URBACT Good Practices database and pick the right idea for your city!

The newly updated URBACT Good Practices database is here! With 116 new urban practices on topics ranging from mobility to housing, green urban regeneration to local economy and youth engagement, these initiatives offer ready to use solutions for other European cities willing to step up their game in sustainable urban development.

The 116 urban practices have been awarded the URBACT Good Practice label following the decision of URBACT’s Monitoring Committee on 29 October 2024. An URBACT Good Practice is an urban initiative that is impactful, participatory, integrated, relevant and easy to transfer to other European cities.

The URBACT Good Practice database offers a deep dive into the different practices and what it takes to adopt similar intiatives in other cities. Interested urban practitioners can also connect with the different practices and spark a potential partnership using the available contact form.

From Good Practice discovery to URBACT Transfer Networks

More is yet to come for the URBACT Good Practice discovery! The 2025 URBACT City Festival offers an opportunity to meet the URBACT Good Practices in person, discover the secrets of their success and start building partnerships to transfer these practices to other European contexts. The call for URBACT Transfer Networks, running between April and June 2025, will offer just that: the opportunity to transfer and adapt selected URBACT Good Practices by other European cities with URBACT funding and methodology support.

Make sure you don't miss this chance and register to the URBACT City Festival now!
