Greening the tram tracks to cool the air

Wrocław City Municipality and MPK Wrocław (Municipal Transport Company) incorporated nature-based solutions into the design of new tram line by greening the tram tracks with drought-tolerant plants. This public-private collaboration allowed to reduce local heat island effect.
