  • Cities secure sponsorship to offer prizes to aspiring entrepreneurs

    Two European cities that are part of a network that aims to stimulate Blue Growth Entrepreneurship (growth linked to the Marine & Maritime Economy) have secured commercial sponsorship to offer prizes to aspiring entrepreneurs that are in the early stages of developing their business ideas. This sponsorship money, combined with the offer of a professionally delivered incubation and mentoring programme, helped them to publicise their competitions and attract more high-quality applications.

  • Budoucnost Integrovaných územních investic ITI

    Integrované územní investice, častěji známé jen pod anglickou zkratkou ITI – Integrated Territorial Investment – se dotýkají každodenního života většiny obyvatel Česka, kteří o jejich existenci však nemusí mít nejmenší tušení. ITI stojí v pozadí široké škály aktivit, od rekonstrukcí národních kulturních památek, nákupů moderních trolejbusů a autobusů, rozšiřování kapacit tříd škol a školek až po podporu špičkových vědeckých týmů či vědeckotechnických parků, a přináší více než 30 miliard Kč ze zdrojů EU, které doplňuje přes 10 miliard Kč z rozpočtů českých měst, státu a soukromých subjektů. Přesto představují pojem srozumitelný jen omezenému okruhu odborníků a prakticky neznámý laické veřejnosti.
